Friends of the Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa

By becoming a friend of the Heart and Stroke Foundation you will partner with us in shaping the future of South Africa. With a third of all South African's dying of heart related causes – there is need for change.

An annual donation of R200 will allow us to keep in contact with you via a newsletter - keeping you abreast of activities and programmes run by the Heart and Stroke Foundation and will ensure that you receive our award winning quarterly magazine, heart. You will also receive a discount on your Heart and Stroke Foundation purchases.

Saving Little Hearts

Support our Saving Little Hearts Campaign through a small monthly donation towards our Children’s Programme. You can help us reach our goals of instilling heart healthy life style habits with tomorrow’s leaders before it is too late.

Payroll Giving

A simple monthly salary deduction is a way that employees can collectively make a difference. Adopt the Heart and Stroke Foundation as your charity of choice and help us in our work to save lives.

Meals for Heart

A great home-based fundraising event that will help cook up some cash for a really good cause! We are calling on men and women across the country to join us in hosting a ‘Meals for Heart’ in their own home!

Those invited are encouraged to make a financial contribution (you decide what your friends can contribute) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in recognition of your host’s efforts, via a simple ‘donate for your meal’ theme. In turn, if at least three of your guests host a dinner at their homes, this fundraising initiative will spread continuously over a large cross-section of the community.
