MEAL PLAN

A seven-day meal plan is available from the Heart and Stroke Foundation SA, as a guide for weight loss. Weight loss should always be slow and gradual and should be achieved by following a healthy, balanced diet and by exercising on a daily basis. The portion sizes in the meal plan serve as a guide only and need to be adjusted for activity levels, body size and age. For an individual lifestyle assessment and education about healthy eating, a registered dietician should be consulted.
