Excellent specialists, sophisticated facilities and dedicated nursing staff who maintain the highest standard of care at all times, have earned Life The Glynnwood its reputation as the premier cardiac treatment centre on the East Rand.
Since 1995, when the hospital opened its first cardiac catheterisation laboratory, the hospital has upgraded and expanded its facilities and services in order to maintain service of the highest quality.
Health awareness initiatives
Life The Glynnwood has built up a reputation for its efforts in promoting preventive healthcare among the general public. In particular efforts are focused around education on the prevention of cardiac disease.
The hospital¹s health awareness initiatives includes regular talks on preventing heart disease through a healthy lifestyle, cholesterol testing, dietary advice and the distribution of relevant information leaflets and heart healthy diet sheets.
