Emmah Siluma

Emmah’s career started with switchboard and reception studies at Commercial careers in Edenvale and then completed her clerical certificate at Apex training academy in Benoni in between 1989 – 1990. Emmah attended UNISA from 2005 – 2010 and obtained her Marketing and Tourism Diploma which led her to working for Summit Caterers at the airport as a receptionist and radio operator, later bought over by Aerofare caterers from 1997 – 1999.
Emmah moved on to an event company called Solutions Group from 1999 – 2006 and continued her work as a receptionist and debtors controller but later became the PA to the MD – the role included coordinating events
Thereafter, Emaah joined Seekers Travel from 2006 – 2008 as an events manager and was later introduced to international congresses and issuing of certificates of attendance to mostly doctors and paying of Honoraria to local and international speakers. Emmah’s career in events management continued with pharmaceutical company Novartis SA from 2008 – 2017 which was followed by joining the Heart & Stroke Foundation South Africa as our Office Administrator in our Johannesburg branch.
